MediVision American Subsidiary signs Licensing Agreement
with NextGen
OIS to Sell NextGen Healthcare Products in the Ophthalmic
Market
Yokneam Elit, Israel, MediVision Medical Imaging Ltd. (EURO.NM: MEDV, the
'company') announced today (August 5, 2003) that it's American subsidiary,
Ophthalmic Imaging Systems ('OIS') (OTCBB: OISI) has signed a reseller agreement
with NextGen Healthcare Information Systems, Inc., a subsidiary of Quality
Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: QSII). Under the terms of the agreement, OIS was
appointed as a reseller in the US of two computer-based practice management and
medical records products: NextGen® Enterprise Practice Management (EPM) and
NextGen® Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
The Company views this as a strategic business alliance intended to diversify
OIS' product portfolio and, enable it to offer a wider variety of products and
comprehensive solutions to its customer base of ophthalmology departments and
practices in the US. The agreement gives NextGen Healthcare the opportunity to
partner with OIS, one of the leaders in providing high quality products to the
American ophthalmic market for more than 19 years.

The NextGen® EMR system creates and maintains complete medical records with

complete physician management system that provides a common registration system,
enterprise-wide appointment scheduling, referral tracking, clinical support, a
custom report writer, and patient financial management based on a managed care
model. The NextGen® EMR & NextGen® EPM products enhance the Ophthalmic PACS
solutions already offered by OIS to its customers in collaboration with Agfa
Healthcare.
